▪▪ Phase A (FINISHED!): The highway is now located 45 km from the tourist spot, or approximately easy 2 hours from Belgrade to Zlatibor by car. Phase B: By around 2027, the highway will be just 7 km away, or less than 1.5 hours from Nikola Tesla Airport and the new Belgrade EXPO 2027 facility. It will also be about 2 hours from the second and third largest cities, Novi Sad and Niš, and just over 60 minutes from the famous Jahorina ski Olympic resort and Sarajevo, Bosnia. Once the highway to the Montenegrin coast is completed around 2027, the seaside will be at only 140 minutes! ▪▪ New ski slopes: In addition to expanding the capacity of the existing „Tornik“ Ski Resort, two entirely new ski slopes will be constructed on the surrounding peaks, providing a total capacity of 29.500 simultaneous skiers (for example, the capacity of the famous Kopaonik ski resort is around 13.000) ▪▪ Golf: World-class 18-hole competition course (funding approved in the budget, completion 2026/27) ▪▪ A closer International airport (earthworks in progress) for commercial aviation on 5-10 min from Zlatibor center (perfect for premium guests…the shortest route to Golf course), in final stage for larger aircrafts like B737/A320 and Wien, Frankfurt, Paris, Moscow or London will be on 1,5 to 2,5 hours ▪▪ Ponikve international airport, 20–25 minutes from Zlatibor, is already operational (currently for business aviation only).
